6 Stars – Books that stay with us, haunt us, give us a major book hangover. Books that we tell our friends and family about, written by authors that we may or may not stalk. We will give copes of these books away and talk about them endlessly.
5 Stars – We were crazy about this book and loved everything about it. This book had an engrossing plot, perfect writing, it was a book we couldn’t put down and had characters that stayed with us long after we finished the book. This might be a book that had twists and turns galore. We could go on and on about these books, and we will!
4 Stars – A book that was wonderfully written and that we loved. There might be some plot or pacing issues but is still a very satisfying story with good writing and engaging characters.
3 Stars – Good book, might have some errors such as typos or misused words, and has a predictable story but is still worth reading because reading is completely subjective.
2 Stars – We really don’t rate books with 2 stars as this means there were major errors in the book or the story was completely unbelievable. Ellen might leave a 2-star review on Goodreads or a retailer site but not on the blog.
